Nosy Be is this epic 'little' tropical island just off the northwest coast of Madagascar and is the country's largest and busiest tourist resort. It has an area of 320.02 km2, with a population of just over 100,000. Nosy Be means "big island" in the Malagasy language, the island was called 'Assad' during the early colonial era of the 17th century, Nosy Be has been given several nicknames over the centuries, including "Nosy Manitra" (the scented island), and this will give you the clue of why this range of products have this name.
